Pressure Vessel

A pressure vessel is a container that holds a liquid, vapor, or gas at a different pressure other than atmospheric pressure at the same elevation.

Reactor Vessel

The Reactor Vessel is designed to contain and support the core and fuel. It is vertically mounted with an integral hemispherical lower head and removable hemispherical upper closure head. The control element drive mechanism (CEDM) is welded upon the closure head. Some nozzles for coolant, borated water are provided on the reactor vessel. The reactor vessel assembly, including lower and upper head, nozzles, and CEDM, is supported by four columns located under the vessel inlet muzzles. These columns are designed to restrain vertical motion during earthquakes and fallowing branch line pipe breaks.

Separator

The separator is designed for the removal of entrained liquid or solids from air, gas, or steam. Entrainment load may not exceed 5% (by weight) of the separator's gas flow capacity. This unit is for horizontal or vertical down flow applications and can not be used in vertical up flow applications.
