Moisture Separator & Re-heater

Moisture Separator & Re-heater is only necessary for nuclear power plants. They are located between the high pressure turbine and the low pressure turbine and raise the turbine efficiency.

Moisture Separator

It consists of a modular assembly chevron panel with double pocket elements. Each element consists of a stack of regularly spaced corrugated plats.

Re-heater

In horizontal re-heater bundles, a box, a divided into two chambers by a partition plates ensures the distribution of the heating steam to the bundle tubes and collects the water which has condensed in the tubes.
